Welcome to Jashank Dental Clinic & Implant Center (“Clinic”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our dental services, website (https://jashankdental.in), digital platforms, WhatsApp communication channel, and all related services. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or engaging with any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of our services immediately.
1. Definitions
- “Patient” refers to any individual who books an appointment, visits the clinic, or receives dental treatment from us.
- “Website” refers to https://jashankdental.in and all associated subdomains.
- “Services” refers to all dental treatments, consultations, diagnostic procedures, and digital services offered by the Clinic.
- “WhatsApp Channel” refers to our official WhatsApp Business communication line used for appointment booking, reminders, notifications, and document delivery.
- “Admin Panel” refers to the internal management system used by authorized clinic staff for operations.
- “Digital Platforms” collectively refers to the Website, WhatsApp Channel, and any future mobile applications.
2. Nature of Services
2.1 Medical Disclaimer
All content published on our Website, including but not limited to service descriptions, blog articles, treatment information, and before-and-after photographs, is provided solely for general informational and educational purposes. This content does not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified dental professional for advice tailored to your specific condition.
2.2 Services Offered
The Clinic currently offers the following dental services, which may be updated from time to time:

2.3 Professional Judgment
All dental care, procedures, and treatments provided by our Clinic are subject to the professional clinical judgment of our registered dental practitioners, guided by the regulations and guidelines of the Dental Council of India (DCI) and applicable Indian medical laws.
2.4 Treatment Outcomes
While the Clinic employs advanced technology, modern equipment, and maintains high standards of care, dental and medical treatments inherently carry certain risks. We do not guarantee specific results, as clinical outcomes depend significantly on individual patient biology, adherence to pre- and post-operative instructions, and patient compliance with prescribed follow-up care.
3. Appointment Booking and Management
3.1 Booking Channels
Appointments can be scheduled through the following channels:
- Website — via the online booking form at https://jashankdental.in/book
- WhatsApp — through our official WhatsApp Business number
- Phone — by calling the clinic directly
- Walk-in — subject to availability and queue management
A confirmed booking does not guarantee consultation at the exact scheduled time, as medical emergencies and clinical situations at the Clinic may cause unforeseen delays.
3.2 Booking Information
When booking an appointment, you may be required to provide your name, phone number, age, date of birth, Aadhaar number (optional), preferred doctor, preferred service, appointment date, time slot, and a description of your chief complaint. You are responsible for providing accurate and truthful information.
3.3 Queue and Token System
Our Clinic operates a token-based queue management system. Upon booking confirmation, you will receive a unique appointment token. On the day of your appointment, your position in the queue will be managed through this system. Priority may be given to emergency cases, elderly patients, or pre-assessed urgent conditions at the sole discretion of the attending doctor.
3.4 Cancellations and Rescheduling
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling of any appointment to ensure other patients can utilize the vacated time slot. Cancellations may be made through the Website, WhatsApp, or by phone.
3.5 No-Shows and Late Arrivals
Repeated late arrivals or unnotified absences (no-shows) may result in:
- The Clinic declining future online bookings
- Requirement of a non-refundable upfront deposit for future scheduling
- Reduced priority in queue allocation
4. Financial Terms and Billing
4.1 Consultation Fees
A standard consultation fee applies to all initial assessments and routine check-ups. This fee is payable at the Clinic prior to or immediately following the consultation.
4.2 Treatment Estimates
Detailed treatment plans and cost estimates will be discussed and provided prior to the commencement of any major procedure (e.g., dental implants, orthodontics, root canals, crowns). Estimates are indicative and may vary based on clinical findings during the procedure.
4.3 Payment Methods
The Clinic accepts the following payment methods:
- Cash
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Net Banking
All payments are processed and recorded manually at the Clinic. We do not currently operate an online payment gateway.
4.4 Payment Terms
Full payment for procedures is required at the time of service, or as per the agreed-upon installment structure for multi-visit treatments (such as orthodontic treatment or staged dental implants). Outstanding dues may result in:
- Withholding of subsequent elective treatments
- Delay in delivery of treatment records or documents
- Notification via WhatsApp regarding pending balances
4.5 Invoices and Receipts
Detailed invoices will be generated for all treatments and payments. Invoices include itemized treatment details, applicable taxes, discounts, and payment mode. Patients may request copies of invoices and payment receipts.
4.6 Refunds
Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Refunds, if approved, will be processed through the original payment method. The Clinic reserves the right to deduct applicable charges for services already rendered.
5. Patient Consent and Responsibilities
5.1 Informed Consent
By proceeding with a recommended treatment plan, you acknowledge and confirm that you have been fully informed regarding:
- The diagnosis and clinical findings
- The proposed treatment plan and procedure
- Viable alternative treatments
- Associated costs and payment terms
- Potential risks, complications, and expected outcomes
For major procedures, written consent may be obtained.
5.2 Consent for Minors
For patients under the age of 18 years, written consent must be provided by a legal parent or guardian who must be present at the Clinic premises during the consultation and treatment.
5.3 Medical History Disclosure
You bear the critical responsibility of providing an accurate, truthful, and complete medical history at the time of registration and before each treatment. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Pre-existing medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, cardiac conditions, etc.)
- Current medications and supplements
- Known drug allergies or adverse reactions
- Pregnancy or possibility of pregnancy
- Blood disorders or bleeding tendencies
- Previous surgical or dental procedures
The Clinic assumes no responsibility for complications arising from undisclosed, inaccurate, or incomplete medical information provided by the patient.
5.4 Post-Treatment Compliance
Patients are expected to follow all post-treatment instructions, prescribed medications, dietary restrictions, and scheduled follow-up appointments. Non-compliance with post-treatment instructions may adversely affect treatment outcomes, for which the Clinic shall not be held responsible.
6. WhatsApp Communication
6.1 Consent to Communication
By providing your phone number during appointment booking or registration, you consent to receive communications from the Clinic via WhatsApp, including but not limited to:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Queue position and turn notifications
- Treatment updates and follow-up reminders
- Prescription documents and invoices (PDF)
- Satisfaction surveys and review requests
- Promotional and informational broadcasts (from which you may opt out)
6.2 WhatsApp Booking
Our WhatsApp channel supports an interactive appointment booking flow. When you initiate a conversation, our automated system may guide you through doctor selection, service selection, date and time slot selection, and booking confirmation.
6.3 Message Retention
Messages exchanged through our WhatsApp channel, including text messages, interactive responses, and shared media, are logged and retained for operational purposes, quality assurance, and to maintain continuity of care. Messages are processed through Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API and are subject to Meta’s own terms of service and privacy policy.
6.4 Opting Out
You may opt out of promotional WhatsApp broadcasts at any time by sending “STOP” or informing the Clinic. However, transactional messages related to active appointments and treatment cannot be opted out of while you are an active patient.
7. Website Usage
7.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon or restrict the use and enjoyment of the Website by others. You shall not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or any connected databases
- Use the Website to transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Website without explicit written permission
- Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Website
7.2 Account Security (Admin Users)
If you are an authorized staff member with access to the Clinic’s admin panel, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must immediately notify the Clinic administration of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach. The Clinic reserves the right to suspend or terminate admin accounts at any time.
7.3 Content Accuracy
While we strive to keep all information on the Website accurate and up-to-date, we do not warrant that all content is free from errors or omissions. Information regarding services, pricing, and availability is subject to change without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Ownership
All intellectual property on our Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, before-and-after clinical photographs, blog content, videos, service descriptions, and software, is the exclusive property of Jashank Dental Clinic & Implant Center or its content licensors.
8.2 Restrictions
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, or commercial exploitation of any content from the Website is strictly prohibited under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable Indian laws.
8.3 Third-Party Content
Certain images on the Website may be sourced from licensed stock photography providers. Such images remain the property of their respective owners and are used under license.
9. Patient Records and Documents
9.1 Medical Records
The Clinic maintains detailed electronic medical records including visit notes, diagnoses, prescriptions, treatment plans, and clinical photographs. These records are stored securely on encrypted cloud servers and are accessible to authorized clinic personnel on a need-to-know basis.
9.2 Patient Documents
Documents uploaded to your patient profile (lab reports, X-rays, CBCT scans, consent forms, photographs) are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 cloud storage with industry-standard encryption and access controls.
9.3 Prescription Delivery
Prescriptions are generated digitally and may be delivered to you via WhatsApp as PDF documents. You may request prescriptions at any time through the WhatsApp channel or by visiting the Clinic.
9.4 Certificates
Medical and dental certificates issued by the Clinic are digitally generated, signed, and may be delivered via WhatsApp or in-person. The Clinic maintains records of all certificates issued.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Scope of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Jashank Dental Clinic & Implant Center, its chief doctors (including Dr. Lata S Mushannavar), consulting specialists, and staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:
- The use of our services or Website
- Reliance on information provided on the Website
- Any delay or failure in providing services due to circumstances beyond our control
- Technical failures, interruptions, or errors on the Website or digital platforms
10.2 Clinical Complications
Standard dental procedures carry inherent clinical risks, including but not limited to post-operative swelling, pain, secondary infections, implant rejection, nerve damage, or allergic reactions. The Clinic’s liability is limited exclusively to instances of proven gross negligence under the jurisdiction of Indian medical regulations and consumer protection laws.
10.3 Force Majeure
The Clinic shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, power failures, internet outages, or other force majeure events.
11. Third-Party Services
11.1 WhatsApp (Meta)
Our WhatsApp communication is powered by Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API. Your interactions through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
11.2 Google Maps
Our Website embeds Google Maps for displaying the Clinic’s location. Your use of the embedded map is subject to Google’s Terms of Service.
11.3 Cloud Services
We use third-party cloud infrastructure services (Cloudflare, Hostinger) for data storage and website hosting. These providers maintain their own security certifications and compliance standards.
11.4 Disclaimer
The Clinic is not responsible for the practices, policies, or content of any third-party services. Links to external websites or services do not constitute endorsement.
12. Reviews and Testimonials
12.1 Patient Reviews
Patients may be invited to provide reviews and ratings following their visit. By submitting a review, you grant the Clinic a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and publish your review (with your first name or anonymously) on the Website and marketing materials.
12.2 Accuracy
All reviews must be truthful and based on genuine patient experiences. The Clinic reserves the right to remove reviews that are defamatory, offensive, misleading, or unrelated to our services.
13. Modifications to Terms
13.1 Right to Amend
